David Bowie: The Man Who Fell to Earth

I’m obviously not a rock singer, but I want to pay tribute to a man who defined several decades of music. Bowie was my first crush after watching The Labyrinth at age five. Later, I remember being an unreasonably anxious 19 year old when I discovered his music for the first time and was blown away by his lyrics, passion, and confidence. As an aspiring musician, I take comfort in knowing there are artists like Bowie who keep their artistic integrity and still succeed. He was creative, he was powerful, and he never backed down. Whether anyone liked it or not, he only made his music. What a badass. See you in the labyrinth, Goblin King.
